For these two events I will be playing with my friend Jackie Tait, she is bomb. Both tournaments are a part of the NORCECA tour. The dates and locations are as follows:

WIN vs. El Salvadore! We made it through the rain, the wind, being told we played at 6 and then 1:20 and then just kidding after 2 more matches from now on this court (whatever time that happens to be), and Jackie’s first international event! It’s a good day!
We play Mexico tomorrow, not sure what time yet but most likely on center court. Will update tomorrow once we have the results!

Long live the beach season!
It’s been a while since my last post - I didn’t forget about you, promise! After a 6th place finish in Puerto Rico, I took a little bit of time off before organizing the final couple months of my 2012 season. Initially, Jackie and I were planning on going to Thailand and Trinidad & Tobago together, but injuries, school and some bad luck got in the way, so we had to put those trips off for another time.
Jackie has since been training with York’s Varsity Volleyball team, so I needed to find a new partner to wrap up my year with. Over the past month, I have been training with Kristina Vlcek, whom I competed against several times this summer. We are just starting to develop some chemistry, which is great timing considering tomorrow we are headed to Gros Islet, St. Lucia for my 4th and final NORCECA tournament of the year. Although many other teams have hung up their bikinis for the season (hehe), we are forging on! We would both like to end 2012 on a positive note, so it would be nice to finish this tournament on the podium!
